The Nikah ceremony will be officiated by one of our experienced Resident Imams and will usually last approximately 30–40 minutes. During the ceremony, the Imam will conduct the Nikah in accordance with Islamic teachings, including Quran recitation, the marriage sermon, and the official acceptance of the marriage contract.
Following the ceremony, the remaining time can be used for greetings, congratulations, family interactions, and photographs, allowing couples and guests to enjoy and celebrate this special occasion together in a warm and welcoming environment.
Almarkaz can host Nikah ceremonies at a mutually agreed time, carefully scheduled to avoid clashes with prayer times and other mosque events. Our team aims to provide a smooth, organised, and stress-free experience for couples and their families from start to finish.
Whether you are planning a simple Nikah or a small gathering with loved ones, we strive to create a memorable and spiritually uplifting occasion in a peaceful Islamic setting.

- The guests are free to wear anything that is of modest attire. Just make sure the arms and legs are completely covered and wear bright colours. Though any attire is appropriate, as long as you follow these general guidelines.

A UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY TO HOLD YOUR NIKAH AT THE MASJID
We are also registered for the solemnisation of marriage under the 1948 Marriage Act. This ensures that we are able to conduct marriages recognised under English or Scottish law.
